WELCOME TO GRAND-BORNAND !

At the heart of the Aravis, in Haute-Savoie ideally situated between Mont Blanc, Lake Annecy and Switzerland, Le Grand Bornand offers the best of the French Alps! The resort is of course a fantastic tourist destination for both summer and winter, but is also a truly charming village that lives all year round with such a generous nature ! The village is very typical, with its main square, its church and multiple shops, it is the starting point of all activities such as Alpine skiing , with 2 gondolas up to the ski runs, but also the Nordic skiing in the Bouchet valley. With over 400 century old Alpine chalets, a unique example of local traditions, the resort continues to expand in respect of this legacy in the most beautiful alpine setting. It all starts with the splendid backdrop of the Aravis mountain range, reaching 2 750 meters with the iconic “Pointe Percée” , with harsh landscape, rich forests and lush green meadows that paths lead down to the village
